Fps problem FFX

What do you suggest? All I did was browse for it and clicked run. Is there anything else I should be trying when using linuz iso?

K I got the linuz iso working, and I tried with native which both didn't work. So I tried speed hacks, I did get about 15 more fps with the vu cycle stealing but it got really really choppy. So no progress.

are the other speed hacks any better? at what setting does the "vu cycle stealing" make the game choppy?

The other ones will speed it up a little bit but no considerable difference. The vu cycle stealing makes it choppy at about moderate speed.

well, then it's probably the performance you'll get with that cpu. FFX is one of the less demanding games, but seems that your cpu is not up to the task. it's rather old, one of those socket939 opterons, right? btw, nice desktop wallpaper Laugh
