Freezing in Kingdom Hearts
#1
Hi I'm having freezes in kingdom hearts.

So I did some searching and stumbled upon this thread where he had exactly the same problem as me: http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Kingdom-Hearts-Freezes

he says he resolves it by "setting the preset to 3" but as I am a newbie I do not understand what that exactly means.

Could someone kindly guide me on the matter.

Many thanks.

However I tried turning off speedhacks but it still yielded the same result.

I also tried changing the default audo (XAudio2) to DirectSound as suggested in another thread but again no avail.

Would you know of any other possible reasons as to why Kingdom Hearts is crashing? Specifically at this scene too.

I will try now.

Seems quite complicated to do. Will this in anyway prevent the crash from happening? After all It's just another way to save isn't it?
#9
It's the normal way to save, like you would do on your PS2.
savestates may be a good feature to use, but you shouldn't rely solely on them since they can easily get corrupted.

I see. So is there any clue as to fix the crashes?
