Didn't work either. It always ask me to update Direct X when I already have. Is Pcxs2 just not getting the message?
Your first link, that had the "DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer", it downloaded a lot of MS cabinets (Kinda like Rar. archives). Do I need to unpack them in a specific file?
It should download and install them, if needed, you know.
Well damn, I don't know what else it could be.
Well, really, it's something with your system coz it seems it's both your DX and you not running the soft as admin. Well, gl and stuff

run as administator - check
reinstall - check
restart PC - check
I've got all that done, but I get the same error. I grabbed ZeroGS 97 and threw that in, but it made all the graphics look worse than when I ran pcsxe 0.9.4.
not sure what's going on.

cpu: Intel E8500 OC's to 3.8GHz

IF ZeroGS runs and GSDX doesn't then your _REALLY_ need to update your directx. Rofl.

...right. except I already did that. So unless 'your' supplied a broken link to update my DirectX, that's not the problem.
Can anyone else try and help rather than say the same thing over and over?
