GSdx
Here we go. It's unusably slow though.

Seriously.

GSdx Plugin Pack with texture cache disabled

Contains SSE2, SSSE3, SSE4, AVX and AVX2 versions.

I get 20 FPS on Persona 4 title screen with it. Lol.

Again, don't ask for support on it!

Final Fantasy X:

GSdx32-AVX-r5632 (texture cache enabled)
Native: 300 fps
4x Native: 250 fps

GSdx32-AVX_NO_TEXTURE_CACHE
Native: 25 fps
4x Native: 22 fps

I'm using a Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition. Texture cache enables 1,100% performance improvement. That's very impressive.

Yeah, it's BRUTAL with it off.

Turning it off DOES break stuff.

I've been testing Jak and Daxter. Daxter's eyes work with the cache off, but the screen gets lines.

are there, any advantages having texture cache disabled have?
We're supposed to be working as a team, if we aren't helping and suggesting things to each other, we aren't working as a team.

This is interesting, wonder why that happens.

Also, I have been looking though some of the discussions on GIT and found that gregory38 made a comment about the flag

https://github.com/PCSX2/pcsx2/issues/26...t-60378158
"DISABLE_HW_TEXTURE_CACHE only disable destination target cache. Maybe it is related to others texture cache."

but, wonder how this could be a cache issue Tongue

Strange,on my first try,I got 45-50 there but after that(restarting pcsx2),I got ~120 in HW mode(native) every time and at least 2 or 3 times more in SW mode(~250 at the Press Start and ~400 at next screen with the running character)

With cache enabled in hw mode ~500fps and at the next screen ~1000fps and in sw mode is almost the same as no cache sw mode

The second sentence wasn't a continuation of the first, It was more a general comment about the compile option.

Booted up JakII and JakX. The plugin fixes some (yes not all) of the texture corruption, but for some reason corrupts text.

Booted up Inuyasha:feudal combat,NUN 5. The plugin creates more issues than fixing them and takes a huge performance hit on these games. it gives me about 60% slowdown compared to when, texture cache was enabled.
