GT4 (PCSX2 0.9.6) want to play but cant play , help plz

I have Gran Turismo 4 .ISO on HDD , PCSX2 0.9.6 installed , used the english config guide but game wont play ?

Game starts , a few lines of words , sony entertainment ect then goes black with a slight flashing of some other words , 2005 sony ect (hard to make out)

Here is my PC Spec

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual core processor 4200+ 2.4ghz
3g RAM
Radeon X1600 series
WINDOWS 7

I changed the Lillypad controller buttons , used XBOX 360 pad.
I didnt change any other settings.

I have no idea what to do , ive searched youtube for tutorials but got no joy , i hope someone can help as ive spent 3-4 days now trying to get this to work and im close to giving up lol

No, that's why I mentioned only NTSC version. The main problem for PAL version is the non existing 480p mode so I don't know but it's highly probable that the races vs AI will still crash until a fix for PAL version.

I am using PAL version not NTSC , any ideas ?
