GT9800 or GT220 ?
hey , i just wondering , which one is better ? either GT9800 or GT220 ? because i'm planning to upgrade my computer .
here is my spec :

Windows Vista
Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU E4600 @2.40GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.4GHz
DirectX 11
GeForce 8400GS
Game Currently Playing : Ar Tonelico 2 (smoothly)

I would like playing Rogue Galaxy and Final Fantasy XII in 60FPs
and i also heard that , GT220 is not a gaming card ? is it true ?
because i wanted to play GTA IV also . Rolleyes
Thanks !

GT9800 ? but isn't the GT220 is more latest than 9800GT ?
Newer? Yes. Faster? No.
See for youself:

If anything, a gts 250 is more comparable to the 9800gt, because it is a renamed 9800gtx+.
Nappa: Vegeta! What does the scouter say about his power level?
Vegeta: It' thousand and six.
Nappa: Wh-...really?
Vegeta: Yeah! Beat him up Nappa!
Nappa: Yay!
I can't say for sure about the desktop models, but I KNOW the 9800M GT surpasses the GT 220M with twice the memory bus and three times the shaders. I would figure it the same/similar case in the desktop GPUs, or close enough to say: 9800 GT.
i see , so it's better to choose 9800GT ?
9800GT for the winner
Main Hub:i5-4670(3.4Ghz Factory Clocked),ATi Radeon HD7770(GDDR5+128-bit+1GB),Win 10 SL(x64),ASUS H8M-E,8GB DDR3 RAM
It performs about the same as the GT240

GT240 is same as 9800GT ? if so , i think i'll buy GT240 cos it's more cheaper than 9800GT in my country
gt 240 is worse than 9800gt and 250 is better than 9800

OS: Win 7 Ultimate x64 sp1, MoBo: Asus P5QD Turbo, CPU: Q6600 @ 3,0Ghz, RAM: Trancend 2x2gb 6-6-6-18 800 MHz, GPU: HD 4850 1gb.
