Game STUCK at 50% speed

Have spent whole afternoon trying to figure out what the problem was and turned out to be very simple.
Here is how it worked for me. Try enabling 'constant skipping' on GS window (config > video > core gs settings).
Now your game should reach the 100% speed.

Interesting for low end computers. Bad ideas for most games though
