I can't run my Pcsx2 with accurate temperatures right now since I can't connect to a power outlet, but here's my configs. Let me know if you need anymore stuff.

Please set your Windows Power Plan to "High Performance".

If that profile does not exist, create it.
You should be able to make a plan based off the "High Performance" scheme.

Also-- Change the GSdx renderer to Direct3D11 (hardware).
That's kinda basic. Have you read the Configuration Guide...?

I configured my PCSX2 off of the config guide. Although when I didn't understand something, I just left it as is instead of changing it.

Good man. Smile

Change that renderer, though. DX10/11 > DX9
You could also change the GS plugin to the SSE4.1 version, if you haven't.

BTW - What model is that i7?
And does your laptop have nVidia Optimus?

Thanks to all who have helped out.

After changing my batter performance to High it works just as it did before and it runs normally on balanced again.

Furthermore it doesn't run too slow or too fast anymore. Although I am still curious as to what causes fast motion. Like slowness I get, but fastness?

If the framelimiter is enabled,
the only reason the game should run too fast is if you press the Tab key.
That toggles PCSX2's Turbo mode.

Or maybe pressed F4, which toggles the framelimiter.

You should also update to 0.9.8 at least, I don't know why no one suggested this yet...
