Game runs normally, but no audio

Well I made this account for the sole purpose of asking this question, how do I get my audio to work while playing? No errors appear so there's no report here, I tried opening the configuration for audio but I couldn't make heads or tails of it

go in to Config->SPU2->Plugin Configuration, it is probably set to "Portaudio" in the top right, click configure under that, then tick the box that says "exclusive mode". OK it all and you should now have sound Smile

When you say lagging what do you mean? Slow motion? falling behind the video?

It's hard to explain, during the first cutscene of Castlevania: Curse of Darkness both the video and audio work for a second and then they start stuttering, work again for a second and go stuttering again, It's unplayable, what do I do?
