I still think its just slowing down cause your PC just can't handle some scenes.
CPU: i7 930 @ 2.8GHz(Everyday)/3.6GHz(Gaming)/4.0GHz(Encoding)

Ok, I looked on YouTube about overclocking and it looked easy.
But the tutorials that I found are pretty old, does anybody know a guide on how to oc a q6600 thats not very old?

what's "very old" for you?
the q6600 is not a highend-cpu, it came out in 2007.
so you don't need a "new" tutorial
just search the web or youtube for "overclocking q6600"
i'm sure some of these "very old" tutorials are very useful to you
