Games some times in slow motion

Hi
Im new to pcsx2 and need some help.
When I play games and my frame rate drops to 30 or so (most of the time) my game will run slow motion like. I did some research and I think this is due to pcsx2 require games to run at 50fps.

Can someone help me fix this?

In order to help you further with your problem, please make sure the following are all provided.

• Your hardware specs - CPU, Graphics Card, Memory, Operating System.
  
• The version of PCSX2 you are using.
  
• Any non default settings you are using.
  
• What games you are trying to play and if you are playing them from ISO or DVD.
