Games with great compatibility

All Nippon Ichi games work great (Soul Nomad, Disgaea 1 & 2, Phantom Brave and La Pucelle).

As I explained in this thread Dot Hack games are broken in some releases.
The games work well in r1130 with EE sync hack x2 but seem broken in the latest release (from r1172 to r1212).

In HW mode, I got horrible framerate and black lines across the screen.
In SW mode, I got huge FPS drop during cutscenes and combats.
Never got this one to work perfectly Glare.

Shin Hokuto No Ken
Dragon Quest VIII

DQ8 runs great, but some "flashback" scenes don't render properly in hardware. The solution is to savestate and watch those bits in software mode and switch back after.

Just to add Mortal Kombat series to the list. I'm currently playing Deadly Alliance and it works great full speed on my specs e4500 @ 3.05 GHz and 9800GT. I've tried Armageddon a while back on the playground before the merging of the teams, and it worked at about 45FPS average, but I believe that now it would go full speed.

Dragon Quest VIII Works?! For me on the Official v0.9.6 PCSX2 Emulator and the Latest Beta release r1474, the game runs fine till I reach the Pub in the first town, then it won't let me leave the Pub for any reason is seems. I can enter the Pub, but the game never seems to let me leave there, it's like the door is somehow stuck, as everything else runs like normal, except for another graphics oddity in the same town. i.e. 2 windows and one door i've seen are not seemingly in the right positions.

So, what config needs to be used, or do I somehow have a BAD ISO?

I have both PCSX2 0.9.6 and the Latest beta which I thought was r1474...

Please tell me the needed Config for this Game. As I'm greatly tired of the above glitch, and I am wondering what's Different Between My setup and another persons setup...

Here's My System Setup:
CPU=AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5800+ 3.00 GHz per core.
System RAM=2.00 GB of 800MHz DDR2 Memory
GPU=GeForce 8500 GT 512MB DDR2 Video Memory 500MHz Core Clock by XFX
Sound Card=Creative SB XFI XtremeGamer Fatal1ty PRO
OS=Windows XP SP3
DirectX=9.0c SDK (March 2009)

I currently am using Nvidia GeForce v190.38 Drivers for my Video Card, if it helps, oh and previously was using v182.50, No Change to the glitch.
I tried, many Graphics Plugins including, GSDx v0.11.5 r1474, r1564, r1571, and ZeroGS v0.97.1, also tried alot of Sound plugins Including, SPU2-X v1.2, v1.1, also Pete's Open source CDDVD v1.30 Plugin, the Linuz ISO CDVD v0.9.0, Gigahertz CDVD v0.7.0 Plugin, and possibly Linuz ISO CDVD v0.8.0, and I even set the advanced options and cpu options, to the recommended settings in the English Config Guide in the forums, to no effect.

My other games all work, like Castlevania Lament of Innocence, Castlevania Curse of Darkness, Baroque "to my great surprise" and RE Code Veronica X "with mild skippable glitches, that if triggered in the Beta version simply lock up the Game." Well, I hope all that info helps.

Please Help.. Thanks in advance. Signed, chaosjr7

Played and finished Wild Arms 5 4 times already. Game works fine 2048x1792 is the best internal resolution for it (because it's enough not to hurt my eyes) works best in DX10HW mode but there are sometimes when you need to switch to DX10SW (it has some flashback scenes that work only in SW mode). And you need peops spu2 for it since all others go boom.
For best speed you must set Vu's clamp mode to none or you'll get massive slowdowns in some parts of the game (i.e in a battle)

My rig is C2D E8500 @ 4.25 Ghz, 4 GB of DDR2-1200 RAM and GTX 260 (700/1100/1500).
