Glitchy Texure Rendering/Display (Digimon Rumble Arena 2)
#1
I recently got PCSX2 to work and was very excited to play my games. Firstly I tried "Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex" which worked pretty decently. When I tried "Digimon Rumble Arena 2" the menus seemed fine, but when I play or watch a demo from the opening screen, the bottom half of the screen shows previous frames from when the camera pans to the stage(See attached image) or when that bottom of the screen changes after I pause, though the character status bars are fine. I'm not sure if it's my system, the emulator or the plugins (the ones that came with PCSX2) and/or their settings.

I'm running:
-Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit SP2
-CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 @2.20 GHz
-RAM: 4 GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 332MHz
-Motherboard: Dell Inc. 0RY007
-Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6570 (Sapphire/PCpartner)

If anyone has any recommended settings or plugins that may help my problem or general settings that can play most games without any problems and lag, with please post them.

Thank you in advanced

Well well. That solution workedLaugh. But why was it so simple Blush
It looks amazing now(with missing effects), but I do have a "slow-motion" issue that I only occurs when turning on software mode (speed hacks are already on) and I do want the effects (its a fighting game after all). You got anything for that?

Can you post the emulog.txt from the pcsx2 console?
Fact and Fiction, Where do you draw the line?

Hope you can do something with this

That's normal. Software mode of GSdx does all graphics rendering on your CPU leaving your GPU totally unused, which adds up to the rest of the work your CPU has to do, killing your FPS. Only solution would be overclocking

So, what is overclocking?
#8
dunno the definition, but it's more like pushing your hardware capability over it's limit
#9
Overclocking is running your hardware at higher then it's rated speed. If you don't know what it is you shouldn't be doing it and most of all if you have no idea what you are doing never over volt. You can burn your system up in a hurry that way.

Yeah I agree with dralor.
I was unexperienced in Overclocking like you but after having done my research I found out that it's actually very easy ONLY if you do a 300Mhz jump and sometimes even in that some processors don't respond quiet well.

Anyways to make it short Over clocking is a way to increase your CPU's performance.
For example:
I had an Intel Pentium Dual Core E5500 stock clock at 2.7Ghz.
I Over clocked it to 2.8Ghz then further up towards 3.0Ghz.
Basically you are just pushing more juice out of your processor and FYI I still haven't changed the voltages because that side of Over clocking really is dangerous.

4Gb DDR3 Ram,
