God Of War problem...again

The game crashes every time on the bridge to Pandora's Temple.
I've read that it has something to do with it being a dual-layer DVD, and to use toxic's dual layer patcher. I downloaded the patcher, but when I try to use it on my ISO it says: "Error: Not a dual layer disk". Well, duh, that's what it's supposed to fix, no?

Any help would be much appreciated

re-rip your DVD to an iso, it shoul be 8.2-ish GB

re-rip your ISO using your original game disk...don't rip your burned ISO.
