That's strange. I've leveled most of my weapons and I haven't had any problems. It might be your cdvd plugin, when I was playing God of War 1, I would get a freeze right as Kratos started speaking when you start a new game. I splayed around with cdvd plugins and it's working fine now. Hope this helps, not completely sure if it is the problem.

What do you mean? Software mode is incredibly slow and it just looks crap. This config is set on hardware mode dx 9 and/or 10

Since when does hardware mode work on GoW2? I thought it always made the environment green.

Running in software makes it crash right before the gameplay starts.

Anyone have any idea on the green issue? It's green for me on the latest version.

I've been playing GoW2 for a while now and everything is running perfectly. If you want to get rid of the green screen rendering, use beta rev 1329 and get the latest gsdx rev plugin. It solves everything. I'll even upload screenshots if you want me to.

Everything is still green soon as the first fight starts, running pcsx2-beta-1474 and GSdx-1495 ;/

You probably have a different CRC than those Gabest has included in his plugin to fix the bug. This can be caused by a modified iso of the game.

I ripped it straight from the disc myself, though it is the Japanese version if that makes a difference.
