God of War Crash :(

Hey guys i am trying to run God of War on my pc, i want to play both GOW's again before i get a ps3 and GOW3. I am using my PS2 Disc in my DVD Drive.

It crashes when i start it up

Heres the settings i use:

ZeroGS 0.97.1 - Graphics (default settings)
Zero SPU2 r514-Dev 0.4.6 - Audio
LillyPad 0.9.9 - Controller
Gigaherz's CDVD Plugin 0.7.0 - DVD Reader
Europe v02.00(14/06/2004) Console - Bios

better use gsdx instead of ZeroGs

ok what i did was make an ISO image using Nero trial version and am using Linuz ISO CDVD 0.8.0 and it goes to the menu screen.
I choose new game and when i choose difficulty kratos starts talking but then it freezes???
(doesnt matter what graphics plugin im using, currently GSDX DX10)

Ok got it working I am using the beta pcsx2 r1888, seems to be working fine
