God of War II Cutscene looping

Hey guys,

I'm currently playing God of War II and I got to the point of where Atlas holds Kratos with his fingers crushing him, but after that small gameplay the cutscene begins showing where Gods battle Titans, but only for a small time because what I am experiencing is that cutscene goes into loop where a tornado is show and cannot be skipped.

Now since the cutscenes cannot be skipped unless I complete the game and to avoid constant reloads of saves just to find out the game still has the same problem is there any way to fix this and to diagnose what is causing this problem ?

Game Version: NTSC

My PC:

CPU: i5 2500K @ 4.5 Ghz (OC-ed)
GPU: MSI GTX 980 Ti
SDD: Samsung 850 EVO (this is where the game and PCSX2 are)
RAM: 8 GB 1600 MHz

All other plugins and options are at default values.

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

I think gow2 is a duallayer disk. Your iso appears to be single layer. You seem to miss the second layer. Plase try to recreate your iso using imgburn.

Well I tried to find a workaround with using Skip MPEG Gamefix but the problem is after I'm done with Atlas and the cutscene is supposed to start,the screen goes black and Kratos somehow falls off his hand and goes all the way down for a few seconds giving me you are dead screen, I don't know what to do now.

Any suggestions ?

Hmm, this might be the case too it seems, but I'd rather try to fix now before making ISO again.

And that's probably the only way to fix it. You definitely didnt rip your iso correctly
