God of War Near perfect if the Videos don´t load XD

Hi everybody!

I just tested GOW with Pcsx2-r534 and GSxd r535 in Windows7

The GSxd was in SS2/DX10 Hardware configuration, i have a X2 5600+ so can´t use SSS3 version

When the game Starts, after the video of Krato Casting himself from the Clift, the Gameplay start with a constant 12Fps, but if i left Krato die, when the game resume, it jump to a 35/42 FPS!!!

I can play in a smooth way until the next video comes in (the one of the door in the floor that need to be open). This is a 4 sec Video, but when the Gameplay resumes, again it drops to 10Fps till krato Dies.

So, there´s some issue concerning the videos. There is a way to skip o not play this videos?

The game starting after the Intro Video at 12/14 FPS

Gamplay after Kratos Died at amazings 45 FPS!!, but falls again at 12/14 when the short Video of the door end Sad

Again, amazing FPS!

looser990 i´m playing God of War 1, this is how...

CPU: Athlon X2 5600+
Memory: 2Gb 800 OCZ
Video: Radeon 4850 with Catalyst 9.1
OS: WinXP and Windows 7 Rev 7022

Pcsx2-r534 and GSdx rev551 (SS2 DX9 Hard in XP, SS2 DX10 Hard in Win7)

The version of GOW is NTCS form Europe, a ISO buckuped and mounted with Linuz ISO

With this configuration i´m playing GOW 1 at 30/45 FPS (depending OS and location in the game) and is near perfect, except for two things...

1) The videos slow down the FPS, so after every Video you have to press START to go to the Options Menu, whait 3 o 4 seconds till the FPS go up, and then START again, and voila! the game is 100% playable

2) A white translucid fog (more noticiable in DX9), you can see it in the Screenshots, but nothing serius...

I hope this info help you so you can play it too Smile

PD: I don´t have GOW 2, but there´s a issue of Green Eviroment that still isn´t fixed....

It's been said again and again NTSC versions of the game do not hang on the white screen when getting a power while PAL ones do
