God of War black rectangle in FMV issue
#1
I'm playing God of War and notice that there is a black rectangle in FMV at the lower right corner.

Is this a known issue? Is there any way to fix this? I'm using PCSX2 1.0.0 with GSdx 5632.

Not sure, but i think agressive crc hack solves this.
I remember this kind of problem occuring if you missed a layer when ripping your gow dvd. Hat is your iso size (if using an iso)?
And did you simply try to press f9 ?

My ISO size is about 7.93 GB. Is this a correct size? This black rectangle appears even in software mode. Aggressive-CRC hack doesn't fix this.

I think this is a bug. Others have this issue as well: https://code.google.com/p/pcsx2/issues/detail?id=959.

Also, if I disable progressive scan the FMV looks fine. So I don't think it's a bad rip. For now, I will just disable progressive scan because I don't see any difference in the image quality.
