my pcsx2 0.9.6 is playing god of war 2 at 25-40 fps but crashes whenever at the movie scene where i release prometheus.and also the part 1 of the game crashes at the moment i climbed chronus back.pls i need assitance. i use directx10 hardware,gsdx 2404(msvc15.00)1.0.15, Amd turion dual core mobile.cpu speed-1.997 ghz

Hey,
I am currently attempting to play GOW2 pal on pcsx2 beta, however I am having a problem with a green cloud popping up during gameplay and disappearing on cut scenes. I am currently using the default plugins that the beta version comes with. The computer specs are:

Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 2.1GHz
3Gb RAM
2mb Cache
ATI Radeon HD3470

Also the game stays at 30fps (36%) and I do not know how to speed it up

Can someone please help me configure it.

The speed is because of your cpu, its quite weak for pcsx2.

I can tell the cpu is quite weak however I have seen people play GOW2 using a 128mb Graphics card on the same processor whereas I have a 256mb card. Isnt there any chance of the game being run at at least 90% because at one point it did run at 60fps until I messed around with the settings to get rid of the green screen problem

With GSdx the graphics card doesn't mean that much. Use the newest GSdx which is compatible with your CPU instructions and you have no problem. Additional options you can find all around the forum.
