Godzilla Unleashed

Hello, I'm new to the emulation world, so excuse my ignorance. I downloaded this emulator to relive some childhood games as well as introduce games to my son. He is in love with the Godzilla world.  I downloaded Godzilla: Save the Earth. He has beaten the game many times. I downloaded Godzilla: Unleashed, but cannot ot get the game to go past the intro. I get a notification that basically says it cannot detect a memory card. This is the only game that has issues. Any advice? Thanks in advance.
