Edit: didn't see this thread has 2 pages. But yeah don't expect too much from a laptop, even if the cpu has a fancy name like i7.

They should really change that name by the way.. confuses a lot of people. i7 desktop is so different from i7 laptop.

They have, just like the GPU's. Thats what the m stands for at the end. Mobile.

If you mean they shouldn't call it an i7, what should they call it? They are based on the same micro architecture. Call it "Mobile i7"? cause like i said above, it's what the M stands for.
