Gran Turismo 4 Paris track fps drops
#1
Hello.

I'm getting really nasty fps drops on Paris track. All other tracks are all full speed, but this one really bad. What could be problem? I'm using only recommended speed hacks. You should I turn on something else?

CPU - i5-4670.
GPU - HD 7750.

EE and GS doens't go above ~50 %.

It's GsdxAVX. Maybe I should use SSE41 version of Gsdx?

No avx is fine. Try lowering your scaling to 2x native.

No problem. It's just your graphics card holding you back.

Better use gsdx sse4.1 if not using software mode, though.

This is a known "problem" with this game. Just this track only is very demanding and hard to emulate, probably because of the lots of lights on it, i dont know. Every other configuration of tracks and cars runs almost with same FPS but this track only has about 50% less fps.
You cant do anything about this, and the problem is not in you. Just when you play on it, lower the res.scale with 1 or 2 steps, depends what settings you use.

After all, its only one track, and changing int.res require just 3-4 clicks.
