Gran Turismo 4 with a very low FPS!
#1
Hi there, today I would like to talk about Gran Turismo 4 (GT4). The menus on it work fine. However, on the car select screen, and the race itself, the FPS is very low! (it goes down to 20-35 FPS) PLZ HELP!

My PC Specs:
Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 14393)
System Manufacturer: HP (Hewlett-Packard)
Proccessor: MD A10-6700 APU with Redeon™ HD Graphics   (4 CPUs), ~3.7GHz
Memory: 6144 RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 12.0

This game is demanding and your cpu barely reach the recommended STP for most 3D games.
On my PC my cpu is around 1.4 times faster and I get 85fps at 3x scaling and 150fps at native in the garage.

What are your pcsx2/gsdx settings
The game is gpu demanding

I can get pictures up for my settings up soon (maybe in a week or so), as I am very busy with programming.

This issue also happens on Gran Turismo 3. But not for the PS1 GT's. (GT1 and GT2)

You could put the Preset up a notch to "safe", it will probably very slightly faster, but don't expect much, as said your CPU is quite weak and I don't expect much from your GPU either Tongue
