Grand turismo 3 run 40fps what i do to get minimum 50fps

Hey guys im playing grand turismo 3 and the give me 45 to 40 fps without speed hacks in pcsx2 1.0.0 can i make it run at 50fps with use of speed hacks

My pc spef is hcl e5500 ram 4gb ddr3 2.8ghz overclock to 3.28 ghz ,nvidia gt 610 2gb ddr3 ,g41 ecs

If you push ee cycle rate to 1 and vu cycle stealing to 1, that should be ok.
CPU : I7 2600K Oc'ed @ 4.2Ghz
Mobo : Intel P67 southbridge
GPU : NVIDIA Geforce GTX 750 Ti
RAM : 6 Go

Hmmm now thats work but only increse 3fps more now they run 49 to 43 and near to 50fps thaxx ur help is usefull

unfortunately, your old CPU will be a serious bottleneck since you will get very few to no benefits from MTVU hack.
So, I guess this is probable the best you can get.
CPU : I7 2600K Oc'ed @ 4.2Ghz
Mobo : Intel P67 southbridge
GPU : NVIDIA Geforce GTX 750 Ti
RAM : 6 Go

Ur right sir .....but why pcsx2 does not use gpu power to emulate games

it does ( as long as you use hardware mode)
but if your cpu isn't powerful enough, your GPU won't be used at its full potential.
same if you have a strong cpu & a weak gpu

Your GPU does get used... but if you mean GPGPU type stuff and HSA and such, that would require the whole program to be rewritten methinks, or at least a crapload of coding.

Hmmm.... Ur right sir but my graphic card ram is 2gb and i play bf3 pc version with 1366*768 resolution with playeble speed (49-53 fps ) ..and i think its powerfull enough

please tell me you're not ridiculously comparing PC games to emulated PS2 games...

BF3 is a piece of cake to run compared to pcsx2.
Moreover, pc games are designed to use more GpU power than CPU power...
