Graphic glitches with OpenGL in Dragon Quest 8
#1
Hi everyone Smile

I post this message to know how to avoid graphic glitches with OpenGl in Dragon quest 8

In fact, especially during battles (but also during game) some black lines appears on the right side of the screen, and it's getting worse.

It also depends of the scene but glitches become quickly a problem.

The only way to solve it is to put the native resolution on.

So how to solve it with higher resolutions ?

My specs are i7 6700 and GTX 960

Thanks for your answers Smile

Hi there Smile

I use the 1.40 version with OpenGL and I also use the NTSC iso of the game

Her's some pics about my problem and the settings I use ( even though I tried everything)

The nice thing with opengl is that the shadows works.

The only hack I have enabled is Round Sprite to half to avoid bad text effects and my problem is still there even if I disabled the HW hack option

There is also a thin black line on right side not there in  DX11 that is not really visable when you see  those smudging lines
