Graphics issues with Timesplitters 3
#1
Hey all, I've been playing Timesplitters for a little while with no problems except this awkward bar of miscolored pixels that appears randomly and doesn't like going away.

I'm running a pretty powerful system, with PSCX2 1.0.

They still need your PC Specs to be sure if that's truely the case.

First off, try pressing F9 to see if it's still there in software mode.

What now exactly? F9 during the emulation?

Yes press F9 during emulation. this will switch the graphics mode torender using the software instead of your GPU itself. Software is the most accurate form of graphic processing on PCSX2. F9 is used to switch between software and dedicated during emulation.

When I do that the gameplay slows down IMMENSELY.

It will do Tongue But if you make sure you set "Extra Render Threads" At the bottom of the GSDX config to 3, it shouldn't be too bad for you hopefully.

alternatively, you could try fiddling with the skipdraw setting in GSDX. Make sure you tick the "Enable HW Hacks" box then click the button and try setting skipdraw to 1 then okay everything to resume the game, if that doesnt work, try 2 and so forth, i usually give up around 10 ;p
