Growlanser 2 help

I got pscx2 installed and working, but it has some problems with growlanser 2. It will randomly crash after battles, and the save files are all labeled as having "00:00" time played. I can save on a blank file, but when i attempt to write over a pre existing one, it crashes.

Im currently using an disc to play the game, as i couldnt get the image to work for some reason.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Download the pcsx2 svn 5210.
You can almost finish off the full game using this particular build.
If you can't save after a particular point using this build then use save states.They work fine the whole game.
