HELP new to using pcsx2
#1
my computer was an i5-3470(64bit cpu)
with only 4GB of RAM
and no video card
directx 11
and an OS of windows 8 64bit...

so on the title page of the game where it asks you to "push start button" it has color but when entering the game it seems it lacks color, most of the color were black and white and I'm seeing shades of other colors(like violet, green, etc) but its just maybe about 5-10% of the whole window..
and on the settings, i don't know what's on it but i can't edit the framerate at the GS tab...
i'm using the PCSX2 1.0.0 (r5350) which i downloaded here and
tried an old game "fighting vipers"...
can someone help me

thanks for the replies...
i kinda figure it out myself...
i think my problem was at the renderer..
cause it was on the Direct3d 9 HARDWARE
so i put it on direct3d 11 software
so after that i worked fine...
but its kinda laggy...
so still gotta try some tweaks...
thanks anyways

i don't have a video card installed..
so i think that's my problem here...
i tried tekken tag(my favorite game)
and still it lags while on battle...
but aside from the actual battle(character selection, options etc) obviously its working well...
and i see that my GS was going up to 100 on the actual fight,
but my EE was fluctuating somewhere between 50-70+

can someone tell me if having no video card was really my problem here..
and also what's better between the two
my igpu with a total of 1664MB graphics memory which in reality is
32MB(dedicated) and 1632MB(shared)
versus
my very old outdated card geforce 9400gt 1GB DDR2 memory card...
cause i don't install a video card yet on my computer cause i don't
know which between them was better...
and i don't plan on buying a vid card

Better use the 9400GT and stick to Native resolution.

The Intel HD 4000 is far better than the old 9400 GT.

I, too, underestimated Intel IGPs, mainly because of their crappy reputation. Until I did some experiments with the HD 3000 recently...
