.Hack//GU Volume 3 tlb miss

i've just started using pcsx2 and have tried ff12 and found that the game ran too slow. My pc specs are:

i5-3317u 1.7ghz (turbo boost up to 2.6)
radeon hd 7670m
4g ram

any ideas of what i can do to put up the fps? i've tried putting resolution at native. i've also tried enabling the speed hacks.
or is my pc just too slow for these games?
