Have a MSI Ge72 6QD but still getting lag trying to play Persona 4
#1
Trying to play Persona 4 on pretty much normal settings (set to native and still recieveing the odd lag spike). Is it my machine or is there something I can do to stop the stuttering as it's ruining the game experience for me. It can be fine for a minute and then just lag a lot during a cutscene/dialog/battle for example.

Current PCSX2 Version: 1.4.0

yeah both are those are ticked off at the start of my post. No idea why it's stuttering (pretty sure it never did this when playing Persona 3)

then the laptop is throttling or it dont have enough STP to deal with the game, each game has diffrence requirements and needs

If I'm not mistaken don't skylake chips experience slowdowns in pcsx2 that are compiled in visual studio 2015? Plus it's also related to hyperthreading.

Anyway try this version. It's compiled with vs 2013.

Also Enable MTVU speedhack.
