Hi all , i am currently using a windows XP sp3 , intel core 2 quad Q8300 @2.50ghz , 2gb ram and a dedicated 1gb nvidia geforce gt 220. Will i be able to run the emulator at a decent speed?

i saw theres a new plugin called ZZogl has been released(i nid it for my ffx). i tried to find a download link in this forum but to no avail. Has it been officially released? or is there a compiled version? coz i am absolutely dumbfounded when it comes to compiling stuff. Any tut to compiling is also welcomed. Thanks in advance

FFX works fine with gsdx.

Use latest public beta and latest plugins pack.

Your rig should be more than ok for games like FFX
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

Oh thanks! but erm i am not running FFX at a decent speed. i get around 60fps at normal gameplay but when it comes to videos it really slows down to around 10+fps..sometimes even hitting singular digits for fps eg. playing the intro video drops my fps to a unplayable level of around 6fps.

i am using the latest beta , the 0.96 version and the gsdx is able to work but ya it comes with the fps i mentioned above and it has lots of missing textures so..any idea on ZZogl?.

i am using the public beta 0.9.6 , gsdx(MSVC 15.00, SSE2) plugin - resolution:windowed, render:direct3d9(hardware), shaderTongue2ixel shader 2.0, interlacing:none, Aspect ratio: 4:3, D3D internal res : 1024:1024 , ticked NLOOP hack , ticked Wait Vsync and ticked Alpha correction(FBA) , the rest are unticked...and i forgot to mention..when i was playing FFX , there are lots of bad sectors reported especially during the FMVs(its a really old disc!! its around 4yrs old? i dunno but its been with me since i 1st got my ps2)

*pss i think i solved the fps issue. all i did was to clean the disc until it actually reflects my face clearly o.0 and i turned off the wait vsync and changed the cdrom plugin. But ffx still has quite a number of missing textures. Any idea?

ok, make an iso of your disc using a soft like imgburn.

User pixel shader 3.0, untick Vsync and try again

ZZOgl, you can usually find the latest builds in the last pages of the thread:
http://forums.pcsx2.net/thread-4108.html

For your GSdx missing textures problem try either the latest beta or running the game in 0.9.6 with "file > run cd/dvd" but the beta is more a sure thing besides of fixing a couple crashes that may happen later in the game.

Oo

If you mean ZZOgl check this one and just uncompress it with winrar or 7zip and put it in your plugins folder:

If you mean the beta links, the recommended installer is the same... could have at least Googled how to open a 7z file but I cant believe even to this day people doesn't have at least winrar installed >_>
