Hello

Im using winXP/SP3 (32Bit) with a AMD quad core 4x 3,2GHZ (Phenom 955) + geforce 275. A leet machine, but no matter what im doing or which config/patch im using pcsx doesnt work. The most intro,s+menu,s will work but when it comes to the gaming/3D part everything hangs up/slowing down to a few frames a sec.
The only games who work are classic 2d games. That really sucks, what am i doing wrong?
Ive really tried so many variations on config etc. Closedeyes
btw; yes ive read the howto and all infos first...

thanks

Revert all configuration to their defaults. That should fix any extreme slowness you can get by "trying variations of configs" Tongue2
(You could delete the whole PCSX2 folder, and set it up again. That resets everything.)

omg so many games... Its like every 3D game... Sad I think thats because the programmer Team have all Intel Systems and PCSX is optimised/programmed on and for intel systems... That really sucks...

In a few days im installing win7/64bit again, lets see how it works on that. I hope better. Thanks for the help guys. Wink
I will posting the results here...

Uhhh...no.
There are plenty of folks on here with AMD systems and they don't seem to have any speed issues.
You should keep in mind that GSDX10 is much more optimized than GSDX9.
So for PCSX2, DX10 is typically the best choice.
Nappa: Vegeta! What does the scouter say about his power level?
Vegeta: It's...one thousand and six.
Nappa: Wh-...really?
Vegeta: Yeah! Beat him up Nappa!
Nappa: Yay!
