So first I got the "missing MSVCP120.dll" bug so I tried to install that dll which led to another error saying that the same dll is corrupted or not meant to be used on windows-systems. Also noticed that I should install Microsoft visual studio 2012, so I tried to do that but it keeps telling me that it's missing some "component". And the emulator still isn't working for me. Any advice on how to fix this?

you need to install vc++ 2013 too, as said on the download page.

Thank you. Those adds make the download page incredibly messy. No wonder i didn't notice that. I assume this is the point at which a thread can be closed.
