If it was a GPU problem, software mode should help it. Smile
We're supposed to be working as a team, if we aren't helping and suggesting things to each other, we aren't working as a team.

Not true.

OGL backend is not supported on Intel HD(now, with gregory's new changes), but DX11 backend works fine on them.

GMA series lost hardware support after 0.9.8 version, those were really old. also they're mobo graphics, the integrated Intel HD cards support D3D11 fine as blyss said.

No, Intel GMA is not supported as we all know. But he had said specifically "Intel HD" which isn't the same.

On windows, Intel doesn't provide a working driver so nothing is supported.

On linux, the first GPU supported are sandy bridge (i.e. not the first HD version aka ironlake)

This is only regarding OGL, correct?

As recently as two weeks ago I ran FFX in DX11 on my mom's laptop which has Intel HD.
