Help - God Of War suddenly turned green
#1
Hi, i'm having troubles playing God Of War 1 and 2... i already red thread after thread about the same issue but the weird thing is that i played and completed the first God Of War without problems (no green screen, no vertical lines), after that i started GOW2 and that also was working perfectly fine with default settings of pcsx2 but yesterday i went back playing and surprise... everything is green and sucks, all of a sudden, i didn't change anything in the settings or plugins, it just deciced to screw up by itself. i tried booting the firse one and that too has the same problems now

I tried updating to pcsx2 1.2.1 (was using 1.1.0) but it's always the same, the only way to "fix" that seems to be software mode but it's too slow, unplayable...

so i'm literally open to ANY suggestion, i'm using bot versions of pscx2 on a notebook (it runs fine), CPU Intel i5-3230M and AMD Radeon HD 8670M 2GB, Win8.1 x64, everything is updated

use fast boot instead of full boot.
Those games need some gamefixes depending of the version you own (be sure you enabled automatic gamefixes)

could be that your gmae CRC aren't recognized properly.
which version of the games do you own ? (platinium, original, special, game of the year, NTSC, PAL, etc...)

i changed GS settings to DX9 (hardware) disabling shade boost, FXAA, FX shader and... voilĂ , no green fog xD i was just messing around with settings, tomorrow i'm going to play it for a while to see if those settings are good
