(Help) God of War 2

Hello, I notice that when playing on Hardware Mode (which gives me good fps) there are no shadows ingame, I mean for example Kratos and enemies' shadows. Playing on Software Mode makes shadows appear, but I've read that this mode uses only your cpu, and mine is dual core so... Anyway I tried but it's unplayable, like 10 fps or so. My point is: Is there any way to play with shadows on Hardware Mode, or to boost Software mode by, I don't know, making it use the GPU instead of CPU?
My specs are:
I3 3240 3.4ghz
GTX 950 2GB
8GB RAM

I believe the OP could try OGL. I can't remember what fixes GOW though. Maybe Blending unit accuracy

I believe it was Half Pixel Offset
