If OpenGL / latest git builds don't help, try enabling Skipdraw hack (set it to 2 - fixes vertical bars in hardware mode but might remove effects like bloom) and set VU clamping mode to "none" (fixes yellow fog in both software and hardware)

EDIT: tested it with OpenGL on a recent git build - VU clamping mode "none" still needed in both modes. Vertical bars in hardware mode are gone, instead there's a colour correction effect covering roughly the top 60% of the screen (on Native, multiplied Native and Custom resolutions) - Skipdraw = 2 still useful to get rid of it.
