:Help Please: PCSX2 to Play FFX

Im trying to set up pcsx2 to play final fantasy x. but am having trouble getting above 25 FPS.
here are my computer settings
Host Machine Init:
Operating System = Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit
Physical RAM = 2793 MB
CPU name = AMD E-350 Processor
Vendor/Model = AuthenticAMD (stepping 00)
CPU speed = 1.595 ghz (2 logical threads)
x86PType = Standard OEM
x86Flags = 178bfbff 00802209
x86EFlags = 2fd3fbff

I was wondering if it is even possible on this computer.

In order to help you further with your problem, please make sure the following are all provided.
  • The version of PCSX2 you are using.
  • Any non default settings you are using.
  • What games you are trying to play and if you are playing them from ISO or DVD.

cpu strength is low for pcsx2. but...ffx is fairly light in hardware needed. your best shot is ee timing, vu cycle stealing hack, and native resolution.
OS: Linux Mint 17.2 64 bit (occasional Antergos/Arch user)
(I am no longer a Windows user)
CPU: Intel Pentium G3258
GPU: Nvidia GTX 650 Ti

The E series is a series of low powered APUs for netbooks. Do some web surfing and send some email on that machine, bud.
