Yes, STP matters. But, hacks like mtvu hack also takes use of the third core so, a quad core will be a better option at games which uses mtvu hack for it's advantage.

If you're looking at a laptop an i7 is a minimum.

Also, there are some games that do stress the GPU. My old 6870 couldn't play Dragon Quest VIII above 2x IR.

Considering passmark gave my Desktop a score around 100 and my Laptop a score around 1000...

Oh yeah, any dedicated GPU is better than the GMA.

Still, this R7 260X or this GTX 750 or even this R7 265 if you would be able to afford it could suit you.

yes, the GMA series were the worst Tongue2 but, I would atleast suggest you to pick up something like a GT-740 (or) HD-6670 to get a decent PC gameplay experience.

Yes, but my visit to the US is delayed and so is my new desktop PC.
But, my CURRENT DESKTOP PC ONLY supports ADD2 cards in the X32 slot...It does have 2 PCI ( OLD ) and an X1 slot....Best possible solution for me at the moment ??
