Help me get rid of Grain Effect in a Game ?
#1
So I have started playing SIREN - (SCUS-97355) and I really want to get rid of grain/noise effect that you I can't turn off in the option menu. I have been trying all day (almost) to do that with Cheat Engine with no avail whatsoever. The furthest I got (few hours ago) is to temporarily disable them by injecting TexMod, which is meant for extracting Textures, and selecting the grain effect texture, which seems to temporarily disable it.

Grain Effect off: http://imgur.com/SuyYYLB

What do you suggest I do ?

Thanks!

You could try increasing skipdraw.. Tho I'm unsure of what is lost to find the one that is the grain effect. it used to be required to get rid of the grain effect of wild arms 3 which would let it run full speed. That's my input. But maybe the devs will have something a little less... quick and dirty, maybe a pnach code.

Some widescreen hackers I know are good with noise filter disable codes.
I'll post a request in the thread for you.

I have given Skipdraw a try, but I noticed nothing being amiss.

How high were you required to go to mask the grain effect for Wild Arms 3 ?

Thank you fro the reply!

I have checked your post, and I'm very flattered! Thank you! How nicer can you get, really.. (Currently trying with Cheat Engine again, myself)
