With the CPU and GPU of that system several games will be playable, while many will not be. One of the biggest things is to keep the native resolution check box checked, and make sure you are running PCSX2 on the AMD videocard and NOT the Intel onboard (HP's site says it has both installed). As well you will most likely have best performance with MTVU speedhack OFF, as you only have two cores and they will get saturated (PCSX2/EE + GS + VU = 3 threads).

This guide may help you: http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Official-...ide-v0-9-8
-Core i7 6700k @ 4.5 GHz
-GIGABYTE Z170X-Gaming 5
-G.SKILL Ripjaws V 16GB DDR4 2400 @ 14-13-13-30-1T
-EVGA GTX 970 4GB @ 1380/1853 MHz
-Crucial MX100 512GB, Silicon Power S60 120GB, Toshiba 2TB 7200 RPM
-PC P & C Silencer 750 Quad
-Windows 7 x64

-----

-Core i7 4710MQ
-16GB DDR3 1866
-GTX 965M 4GB @ 1127/1353 MHz
-Mushkin ECO2 240GB, HGST 1TB 7200 RPM
-Windows 7 x64

get a svn version of pcsx2. leave all the speedhacks at default and activate the MTVU hack. even tho you're using a dual core it might help spread the VU load over the more weak GS coverage.

create an ISO of the games using imgburn and always load them thru the internal CDVD loader.

GS plugin: use the SSSE3 and tick native in there. if you have windows7 use the DX11 hardware renderer.

Sound: use no interpolation and disable effects processing. if you are using windows7 you could use XAudio as the sound device.

I finish devil may cry1,2 with pcsx 2 0.96

I run too with a Hewlett-Packard model
The graphics card isn't strongt enough that you have in your Hewlett-Packard .
You need a new graphics card.
I had a geforce 7500. Now I have a ATI Radeon HD5790
And i finish these games with a good speed

You can't find it, because graphics card HD5790 is too old

Any graphics card mid-range, it depends on your budget. the mid-range starts at 100 €

I know that ATI Radeon HD5770=ATI Radeon HD6770 (the chip is the same, same power)

I read that nvidia geforce is more perform for the same price than ATI Radeon
But I can't say personnaly that it's a good label or a good graphics card
Perhaps you must ask in hardware forum pcsx 2 ,they are good.

You don't need perhaps a expensive graphics card
You can ask someone else
