Basically I used F1 Save before the Auron look thing.. so hopefully i can cut out that 25mins of cutscenes and FMVs so i can try again.

But yea. basically its goin and tidus looks back at the kid and time stops a lil and he's like what? don't cry. then it flashes to reality and he looks over at Auron. And Auron says Look. and there is this momentary blip the screen goes black. comes back. and then those Red Read errors start popping up and the game half asses its way through the visual scene. you can see the characters talking but the sounds Are not present and its just looping game music. and then Tidus bugs out and stands inside auron and i can't do anything.



So please... Please someone tell me what i need to do to get my CDVD plugin to function properly. Would running as administrator help?
I have Iso image in my Data drive. no folders hiding it. i also tried mounting it to a virtual drive. hell i even tried just launching the game disc with PCSX2.. and everything leads to this same issue. it doesnt matter how i tell pcsx2 to find the game, where. or what settings i have set.

I think this still all goes back to what Shadow Lady said about CDVD plugins needing to know what they are doing properly.

That definitely looks like a scratched disc...
tried your DVD on your PS2 ?
tried making your iso with imgburn instead of poweriso ?

thats why i got into all this cause i missed playing FFX and some other games.

figured this would be a good starting place as i'm sure FFX is probably one of the most emulated games out there.

So i just poped my copy of it into my DVD and ripped it. so all i got. is my OG game disc. which yes is a little scratched up.

But poweriso made the iso with no errors so i didnt think it would be that big of a deal?

I can try using another Isomaker. will that really make difference?

Also what CDVD plugin do you suggest I use?

yes, try imgburn to make your iso.
Normally, no need to use any DVD plugin, just use the internal iso loader

Had to make some dinner havent eaten all day.

But Imgburn hit a few bad sectors as well.

I guess my disc is junk??

yup, and that would be illegal anyways.
Which means you wouldn't receive support for it.
