thats the problem my sound is always choppy when frame drops below 50, kinda sounds like robots talking dragging out their words as if to fit in with the slow game speed. Why is it that my frame rate is 40-50 average but the speed at which the game runs is a snails pace?

I'm already running on zerospu2 0.4.6, no change at all, very robot-like

hmmm thing is, just before, I tried playing at an insanely low res 300x400 ish and the problem still occurs. Ok frame rate (40ish), really really bad game speed. I'm starting to get quite annoyed by now Sad
