Help with GodOfWar

My Specs
CPU : I7-4700MQ 2.40GHz
GPU : GeForce GT 740M
RAM : 8GB
I know this system is a laptop I'm just wanting to get it as close to playable i can just to relish in the glory of destroy monsters/demons on this game once more.

I've tried using xPSXe & PCSX2 and i'm completely lost on configuring the settings.
I'm using PCSX2 0.9.8 at the moment & I've already gotten my bios from my old system & got my hands on a copy of God Of War for dirt cheap, Now my only question is when i look at the settings & stuff it all just looks gibberish as i'm not that tech savvy with this so any help is greatly appreciated. Smile

EE at the top of my screen is supposed to be what? CPU usage?
And those the emulator take advantage of the GPU?
And what could i do to improve on the sound or quality of the graphics. I dont even really remember what god of war looked like on ps2 or the new 3
Also i only get about like 15 20 mins before the game randomly crashes (emulator & game)

Go to video plugin settings and set internal resolution to something like 3X native and it will be better. The EE value is the amount of your CPU usage used on the EE thread.

I haven't had the crash yet with the new settings i picked. including the 2x native resolution. But now my question is, Weren't there like cutscenes during the game? i just beat the first sea creature boss and right as it was getting good on the death it kinda jumped to it being done and me standing there???
