Help with KH2..
#1
Been playing KH2..

I could run the game at 60fps
most of the time but it slows
down to 54 fps and sometimes
for as low as 46fps when battling
with 3 enemies or more, especially
at wide maps with 80% pc usage..

Is there any way I can maximize the
pc usage??

Will adding additional memory would help?

Or are there any other ways
I can improve the performance
of this emulation??

PC Specs:
OS: Windows XP SP2
CPU: Pentium® Dual-Core E5200 2.5GHz x2
Memory: 2.00 GB of RAM
Video: GS 8400 512 Mb

Emulator: PCSX2 0.9.6

Graphics: GSdx 890(MSVC 15.00, SSE2) 0.1.14
Renderer: Direct3D9 (Hardware)
Shader: Pixel Shader 2.0
Interlacing: None
Aspect Ration: 4:3
Native box: checked
Texture filtering: checked
Wait vsync: not checked
Logarithmic Z: checked
Alpha correction (FBA): checked

Sound: P.E.Op.S. SPU2 1.9.0
Volume: Loudest
Reverb: No reverb
Interpolation: None
Enable developer debug mode: not checked
Enable thread mode: not checked

I just want to maintain the fps of the
game at tolerable speed..
Thank you in advance..Smile

First, this does not belong in the Off-topic section. Moving.

Second, the CPU usage you see is actually the usage of your graphics card ( most simple way to explain it, trust me). If you open task manager of windows you'll see that your CPU is used to almost 100%. You should always use Pixel Shader 3 with GSdx. Get the latest GSdx to get some speed boosts: http://forums.pcsx2.net/thread-3031.html (be sure to get the required redist from this link too)
It sounds like your graphics card is slowing you down, so this should help.
