Help with lag anyone?
#1
I recently installed pcsx2 and got Jack and Daxter: The precursor legacy to work. But, whenever Im in open space or viewing into a detailed distance, I lag. This even happens with cut-scenes on certain occasions. I've been through some settings, but nothing makes any significant difference. And this isn't just lag in open areas, the game will sometimes speed up in closed areas. Is there any way I can get a more constant flow of fps? (the game says around 40+ which is a lie).

Specs:
CPU: Athlon x4 - 3.4 GHz
GPU: Radeon 7800 series 2GB
RAM: 8GB

Thanks in advance for suggestions and help.

Ezsily.
Get a better CPU, and you're good to go.
Jak and daxter games are quite demanding, and your CPU can't handle it correctly.
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

That is the only solution? Thought my processor would be able to handle this.

Seems cheaper to buy a ps2 and pirate an .iso than buy a new processor
