Thanks for that, that seems to be what I'm experiencing. While it is sad that there doesn't seem to be a reliable fix (except perhaps software mode), it is also reassuring that it is a known issue and isn't something weird on my end.

EDIT: Seems for me switching to software mode did not eliminate it like it did for the other person though. Still seems like a very similar issue regardless.

Setting async audio makes it mostly unnoticeable for me, so make sure to try that if you haven't.

Eh, I tried setting it to async mix but it didn't seem to make much difference. Thanks for the idea though Smile

EDIT: Actually I suppose it does make it a bit less noticeable. Thanks!

Try changing the Power Profile to High.
AMD Phenom II X2 555 BE 3.2 GHz unlocked
