RE: How about a spanish section in this forum
Even if you lock the thread, chances are that people will start new threads asking specifically for the people on the list's help in a different language.

Ie. General Discussion forum clogged with posts titled: 'help plz diegochiha' (or whatever that is in Spanish...)

You can specify in the thread that if someone want help of X (for example, spanish user), he MUST send a PM and don't create a new thread or will be banned/suspended/warned/something.

Yeah, my english sucks ._______.

Just like we specify people MUST read the FAQ and people MUST read the thread about how to make bug reports etc. Yes, those are all threads NO ONE ever reads Tongue So to cut it short, too much hassle for almost 0 benefit.

I still think my idea would be the best way to handle it without any extra fuss and muss. If someone wants to make their own forum (there are websites out there that have free webforums that are ad supported) and then just link it to their sig, or have a few people link it to their sig.

#1: It accomplishes the goal of having a place for non-english speakers getting support

#2: It makes it so that the PCSX2 team doesn't have to worry about anything including moderation or the lack there of.

I think that is easier to create a thread called: non english speakers, with a link to google translator
http://www.google.es/language_tools?hl=es
something like that Tongue, then, won´t be a problem with the language
And sorry for my english Laugh

RE: How about a spanish section in this forum
Can anyone please make a section exclusively for people who want to read in ancient egyptian hieroglyphic alphabet? Smile

I think this forum is in english because its most common language in the worldregions we live in ( except for asia, its chinese there ). Making exclusive sections for one language would be unfair towards other languages, so every language should have a section, now get trustworthy moderation on all those sections, because official mods wont be able to moderate since they dont know those languages....

In my opinion it would be gigantic, false information spreading chaos.

Check my profile for hardware/software and games i played on PCSX2.
