For some games will be enought for light 3d games example FFX, KH1, god of war and most of 2d games.

Each of games probably need special settings but Mostly for low pc specs must stick with native res, frameskip, set clamp to none and using all of speedhacks but try those hacks step by step.

i am using pcsx2 0.9.6 and playing God of war 2 , when i am using direct 3d9 (hardware) it is not working properly everywhere is green colour when i am using software it is good but too slow. what should i do.

Try with latest pcsx2 0.97 and use plugins packs from it.
But iam not sure for this game, i dont have one.

Well, that is not problem if you already have from previous one, just copy your bios from old pcsx2 directory to pcsx2 0.97 directory.
